Principal Physiotherapist providing expert care with over 20 years of experience.
After receiving his Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) from Auckland Institute of Technology (Auckland University of Technology), James worked overseas in a physiotherapy rehabilitation clinic in California before returning home to the Waikato. He worked in the public health sector and for respected practices in the Waikato, before taking over a successful physiotherapy clinic in Cambridge where he treated a range of injuries for a decade.
During that time and since, James has enjoyed helping people get back to work, to independence and to the lifestyles they enjoy. When asked what he loves most about his job, he answers, "Helping them get back to life".
The Journey & Experience
James is a keen surfer and golfer. He has decades of experience with sports injuries, with rugby holding a special place in his heart and expertise. He has been the team physio for several top local sports teams such as the Church College NZ Rugby 1st VX , the Waikato Titans (now the Pistons) and the Hamilton Boys High School Rugby 1st XV. James has successfully treated netball, rowing, running, swimming, cycling, tennis, BMX, surfing and many other sports injuries.
James has been treating the Waikato's sprains, strains, aches and pains for more than two decades. If you have an injury, let that experience work for you.
